In Loving Memory of Jesse

This is dedicated to our precious son, Jesse David Hester, who at the young age of 25 passed away on October 28, 2023. Jesse lived a life filled with passion, adventure, and love for those around him.

Jesse graduated from Louisiana State University’s College of Engineering in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. He was incredibly proud of his education and the opportunities it gave him, and he carried that same pride into everything he did.

His heart was deeply connected to Hester Roofing, and he loved being part of the family business. Jesse approached life with energy and enthusiasm. He was an adventurer at heart—taking flying lessons and embracing every opportunity to explore the world around him. He loved snowboarding, water skiing, mountain biking, playing music, and spending time outdoors as an avid sportsman.

Above all, Jesse loved God, his family, and his friends with a passion that touched everyone who knew him. His faith, kindness, and spirit continue to inspire us every day.

To honor Jesse’s life and legacy, our family is currently working with the LSU Foundation to establish a scholarship in his memory. Our hope is to have the scholarship ready by the fall of 2026, helping future students pursue their dreams just as Jesse did.

In 2027, we will also host a golf tournament in his honor, bringing together friends, family, and supporters to celebrate his life and continue his legacy. Jesse is deeply loved and profoundly missed every day. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit, his faith, and the joy he brought to others will forever remain in our hearts.
